Printed in Palms

The best part about summer fashion?

The season of sunshine brings out the most fun patterns around — making them absolutely trendy, absolutely necessary, and absolutely charming for lots of summer wear. So let’s try this — raise your hand if you’ve seen pineapples, palm trees, lemons, and flamingos on repeat this summer. I’m raising my hand! These cutie patterns are taking over social media and they’re most definitely here to stay. My personal favorite just so happens to be palm trees — which I feel are the ideal icon of summer.

Palm trees are quite ‘minimal’ for summer patterns (if you will) but still fun, summer-y, and absolutely flattering. I not only adore this palm tree shift dress for its perfect price tag ($60.00), but also for its flattering silhouette, make-me-look-tan color, and its timeless aesthetic. Do palm trees ever go out of style? I know you’re shaking your head right now… I didn’t think so! I accessorized this trendy and timeless frock with wedges that are actually the perfect height (not too tall, but definitely tall enough) and also the perfect color. They make a statement with their cutie ankle strap, but they aren’t overdone with the subdued color. I added in this fringed-out Rebecca Minkoff cross body to achieve an effortlessly chic and darling summer look. Scroll down for more deets and links — happy Monday!

  1. Love this dress on you Jessi! It’s one of the cutest palm tree prints I’ve seen this summer and I really appreciate all the little details such as the subtle high-low hem and those straps which aren’t overly skinny for me (they make my arms look so big – which they kind of are!) at the front!!!
