Dressed Up Darling
Every time I look back on my summer in Paris, I salivate over the memories en France. It almost feels like distant dreamworld, a fantasy-type story that I cooked up in my head. And one of my favorite parts about rediscovering all those little French moments is embracing some of the sweet lessons learned that I stumbled upon during my Parisian journey. A few French tutorials go like this: The French are indeed nice—when you respect their culture. Second, when it rains in Paris, it really
rains pours. Next, a comfortable pair shoes is everything.
So with my little French lessons in mind, I’ve decided to change up my shopping habits just a bit. I don’t succumb to those trendy, cheap(er), in-the-moment, splurge shoes that all win us over at times. Because, peaking into my wardrobe now—I realize that (shoe) comfort is e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. And that’s just what these oh-so-darling Elaine Turner Jessica pumps do for me. They’re one of those pairs of shoes that I can picture myself wearing, 10 years from now, strutting down the streets of some big city life, with no blister worries in tow. Comfort, style, Elaine Turner, voila mon amies! Plus, you can wear them with just about anything. All white and cheetah? Yes ma’am, you can! Accessorize with a Kelly Wynne Mingle Mingle Mini, drusy jewels, and Kate Spade sunnies… stylish, comfortable, and ready for Paris! Xo
