It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Dressing up for holiday parties and getting glitzed and dazzled up is definitely one of my favorite things to do during the holiday season — especially in Austin where anything goes. I always find myself giddy with excitement when I have an excuse to get dressed up during Christmastime. Since velvet is back (and staying) this year, I was super excited to find some of my favorite (and more simple) holiday dresses made with the very-trendy-and-oh-so-luxe velvet. This velvet pretty by Tophsop looks super cute paired with a choker, velvet embellished shoes (these are comfy), and a crossbody bag (taggging some more affordable options under my holiday soiree shop section here). I added in this adorably darling and fun fringe-embellished jacket to throw on when you’re holiday-party bound.

    This pink velvet reminds me of a long-sleeve version of the dress the girl in the movie ‘My Date with the President’s Daughter’ ????
