Fall simply begs for a fresh pair of crisp denim.

You know the feeling – the desire to paint your wardrobe in knits, plaids, scarves, beanies, booties and more. The quintessential fall obsession continues as you start to hunt for that perfect pair of denim skinnies, the pair that will end up acting as the staple piece for so many fall ensembles to come.

Enter Nordstrom – my hands-down favorite destination for denim. I’m particularly biased to the Nordstrom TBD department, where they sell high-quality, and on-trend denim brands like Joe’s, Paige, and Hudsons (just three of my favorites). Although I love a great steal for a pair of denim, I always make sure to invest in at least two pairs of high-quality jeans for the fall and winter ahead. And Nordstrom is definitely the destination for my fall denim report.

The denim darlings I’m sporting today that fit all my requirements are the Joe’s Collector’s #Hello Skinny Jeans. I love the effortlessly chic wash of these pretties, and the slight rip at the knee which still adds the right trendy flair. I foresee plenty of fall wear in these babies (think booties!) but decided to dress them up with pumps and a sweater for a more transitional fall look in this post. I love the fit (tight fitting) and how they don’t stretch after minimal wear – two checklist essentials when shopping for high-quality skinnies.
