Did any of you girls watch the Super Bowl?

I did – ish. Essentially – I watched commercials, watched Beyonce and Coldplay kill it (uh duh), ate a lot of chips (too many chips), and played with Chlo Chlo while doing some work. SO yes, me too! Watched the superbowl, if you will. 🙂

Which brings me straight to talking less about football and more about what I love … casual weekend wear. When it comes to weekend lounging, watching the big game, or casual days on the town – a staple striped blouse and boyfriend jeans (psst, these are on sale) are an absolute must. I dressed up this look with white pumps (because LBH, who doesn’t love a pair of classic and comfortable white pumps?), but wearing flats or flip flops would be a cozy match as well. A neutral scarf is always a fun accessory to add a little something-something to a basic #ootd. The most essential part of weekend wear is feeling comfortable. I’m a firm believer that comfort is tied to confidence, and you can’t feel confident and ready to tackle the day if you’re not feeling your best.
