That 70’s Trend

Who else is hopping on this 70’s trend?

Shocking, it is — considering part of my mantra is to steer clear from impulse buys that scream “trend!” However, I will admit that I’ve always been particularly darling to the 70’s era and it’s (extra fabulous) sensual style. I’m talking sleek neutrals, statement-making trousers, silky blouses, and rich colors.

Of course, I’ve decided to put my own “darling touch” (if you will) on my idea of 70’s inspiration. The process initially began with these statement wide leg pants — which might be my favorite item posted on the blog to date. I was excited to find that these absolutely darling statement-making trousers are made of a wrinkle-free material, even though they have the look and feel of linen. The best part? They’re under $100! I paired the trousers with a sweet new bucket bag (that goes with just about everything), a topshop crop (on sale – $34!) and a pastel pink fedora. The trousers are extra long, so I tucked my open-toe booties by Dolce Vita underneath (and also got them hemmed!) Happy Friday!
