Three years ago I started a little side hobby called The Darling Detail.

I will admit, I was incredibly tentative about standing in front of a camera (held by my sweet momma!) and modeling these outfits — especially when blogs really weren’t even a thing yet. My friends always asked, “Are you modeling?” “Ha, no I am not modeling – just starting a fashion blog.” “Wait, what’s that?”

Obviously, a lot has changed in 3 years.

Since then, I have channeled a way to communicate on-trend and affordable fashion (with a pop of luxury in-between) to a fabulous audience (you all) and also hopefully instill a sense of self-confidence and style along the way. I will say it time and time again, confidence is such a key essential in the life of a 20-something-year-old (hello, we are so confused about life… all the time) and nailing that confidence boils down to dressing your best. Of course, feeling comfortable in your favorite #ootd is simply a catalyst to maintaining the confident mindset and lifestyle that we all desire. So yes, comfort is definitely a key component when it comes to building my darling wardrobe with you all.

I’m currently working on devising some new projects that help communicate my confidence mantras in 2016, so stayed tuned for what’s in store. 🙂 Last, but not certainly not least, thanks for listening during these last 3 years.
